At just 20 years old, McQueen began work as a pattern cutter for Avant-garde designer Koji Tatsuno; he then went on to move to Milan and gain experience with romantic designer Romeo Gigli before returning home to London to complete an MA in Fashion Design at Central Saint Martins.
