Veronique Branquinho is a key player in the Antwerp fashion scene.

Based in Antwerp and showing in Paris, the Veronique Branquinho label is well-known for androgynous silhouettes, monochrome romanticism and the art of understated layering. 

Branquinho's journey into fashion began after her studies at Antwerp's Royal Academy of Fine Arts, which has nurtured some of Belgium's most exciting designers, such as Raf Simons, Dries Van Noten, Ann Demeulemeester and Walter Van Beirendonck.

In 1999, her skills led her to collaborate with the Italian leather company Ruffo Research, where she designed for their womenswear line. Her work showcased a tactful touch and creative manipulation of leather, a skill for which she is renowned. Her work with leather has informed some of these Aviator sunglasses.
